The “Promise” campaign continues to attract media attention as it enters a new phase this fall.
An article in the Philomath Express this week detailed how a team from OSBA and Blue Chalk Media were visiting Philomath High School on the first day of school to shoot footage for a new video that will debut at OSBA’s Annual Convention in Portland on Nov. 13.
Ken Ball, principal of Philomath High, was quoted as saying: “It’s a really cool thing … they’ll be in and out of the hallways and see how the kids interact. It’s kind of interesting in that they’re doing it on the first day of school.”
Videographers and OSBA staff have also visited schools in Umatilla, and will be traveling to Tigard and Bandon to find footage for the new video. New to the campaign this fall is an emphasis on forward-looking programs such as STEM, the arts, and career and technical education (CTE).
