A new video highlighting the Tillamook School District’s natural resources program debuted here today.
The program, which began in 2004, gives students multiple opportunities each year to experience learning in an outdoor setting. Through partnerships with local businesses, students learn about forestry and watershed issues, and more.
The video can also be seen on YouTube here.
The Tillamook video is the second of four planned videos showcasing cutting-edge programs – science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), career and technical education (CTE), the arts and more. The videos encourage schools and the public to “dream bigger” about what is possible in Oregon’s schools.
