Pendleton High Promise Kid named Coca-Cola Scholar semifinalist

Oregon’s Promise Kids just keep showing their promise. Congratulations to Anthony Papol, a Pendleton High student featured on this website in December, who was recently named one of 2,000 national semifinalists in the Coca-Cola Scholars program.

Anthony, who was among more than 102,000 applicants, now has an opportunity to become one of 150 Coca-Cola Scholars named this year. Through an application and interview process, those named Coca-Cola Scholars will receive $20,000 college scholarships.

As part of the “Promise” campaign, Anthony said, ʺI am the Promise of Oregon because I want to travel the world and experience cultures and help people understand that we’re all together in this world.ʺ
